Sarah Shahi (born Aahoo Jansouzshahi) was born in Euless Texas to an Iranian dad and Spanish Iranian mom. She was an ex- NFL Cheerleader who is descended of a 19th-century Persian Shah. She won in 1999 the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series for her role as judge Roberta Kittleson on ABC's The Practice.
